Highlights
The laser systems can be extended by the operating modes GL.om3 and GL.om4. Operating mode 3 is used for process monitoring (automation), operating mode 4 for beam adjustment. In these operating modes, laser radiation can be enabled while the safety door is open if specific safety measures are implemented.

GL.om3 for GL.compact and GL.evo

Process observation (automation)

In operation mode 3, one axis can be moved in the working area of the machine with a permission-switch unit.
Open laser radiation (laser class 4) is permitted in this operation mode.


GL.om3 for GL.compact II, GL.smart and GL.ultra

Process observation (automation)

In operation mode 3, several axis can be moved in the working area of the machine with a permission-switch unit.
Open laser radiation (laser class 4) is locked for reason of safety in this operation mode.


GL.om4 for GL.compact and GL.evo

Laser adjustment (laser class 4)

In operation mode 4, only the Z-axis can be moved in the working area of the machine with a permission-switch unit.
Open laser radiation (laser class 4) is also possible in this operation mode.


GL.om4 for GL.compact II, GL.smart and GL.ultra

Laser adjustment (laser class 4)

In operation mode 4, one axis can be moved in the working area of the machine with a permission-switch unit.
Open laser radiation (laser class 4) is also possible in this operation mode.
