LASER MICRO MACHINE GL.ultra
The high-volume solution
The GL.ultra as the largest machine of the GL series offers a wide range of laser machining possibilities with automated solutions, a maximum laser-on time and therefore a maximum output with short cycle times. The integration of two 5-axis processing stations in one machine, as well as the possibility of integrating several laser systems in parallel, guarantee the customer the highest level of investment security. Numerous interchangeable modules complete the new machine concept. Here the established benefits of the Hirth toothing are consistently utilised in order to keep changeover times as short as possible. For example, fixed or scanner optics compatible with all commercially available ultrashort pulse laser sources may be installed through the selection of optional modules. The patented axis kinematics in combination with two specially developed turn/swivel units (X/Y-traversable) offer maximum machining flexibility. The active water cooling of the drive and guide components and the traversing carriage made of granite guarantee the highest possible temperature stability. The innovative technology of the GL.ultra is rounded off by the optical highlight of the sealed, black glass enclosure.

CONFIGURATION
Controls
With GL.control you have the possibility to control all sub systems of the machine and coordinate them. The operator of the machine can program all of the tasks in one single user interface.
Software options
The modular design of our GL.control software allows the machine control system to be expanded with a range of functions. Thus the user is able to adapt the software configuration to their requirements.
Hardware options
Thanks to the modular design, the GL.machines can be expanded with options and therefore adapted precisely to future applications. The following hardware options are available.
