Making the cutting edge of tools as sharp as possible is no longer sufficient to meet the rising requirements in the industry. In the meantime, a so-called chip breaker is also applied to the cutting edges.<\/p>\n<p>This recess is positioned directly behind the cutting edge using laser technology, serving to remove chips on the one hand.
