Successful meeting of the german-chinese laser experts at Trumpf China

In the course of the Sino-German Laser Processing Workshop held in Taicang with around 80 well-known participants from industry and politics, including Consul General Thomas Elz from the German Consulate General in Shanghai, german and chinese experts presented the latest research results in the field of ultra-short pulse laser processing and additive manufacturing.

Together with the laser manufacturer TRUMPF and the ITC (International Technology Consulting), GFH GmbH signed a joint cooperation agreement as a starting point for future cooperation with Shanghai Jiao Tong University in a festive ceremony. Florian Lendner, CEO of GFH, explains that in the future, the aim is to accelerate further development of ultra-short pulse laser technology and to effectively bundle resources from industry, science and research and exploit the associated advantages.

GFH GmbH is pleased about the signing of two important cooperation agreements with the leading universities in Shanghai, the Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) and the University of Engineering Science (SUES).

In addition to the signing of the contracts, the representatives of all cooperation partners unveiled a plaque in a formal act announcing the official launch of the Sino-German Interlink Laser Processing Application Center.

Furthermore, a second cooperation agreement was signed with SUES University, ITC and SLV Rostock and an application center for laser micromachining was founded at the university. GFH GmbH has already supplied a GL. evo for this purpose and is proud to support industry-oriented research with this highly accurate and universal machine.

With these two cooperations and the strong partners, GFH GmbH is taking the next step towards consistent market development in China.
