GL.optifix hardware module
The GL.optifix hardware module provides fixed optics for laser drilling, fine cutting and ablation to meet the highest precision requirements. No components are moved in the optics, so positional errors are reduced to the precision of the axis system. GL.optifix is firmly mounted using centering elements, which allows a quick and repeatable change between different process optics. Different focusing lenses can be used in GL.optifix to work with different focal lengths or wavelengths. These can be adjusted laterally so that the optics can be aligned centrally to the laser beam, thus avoiding optical errors (such as astigmatism). Laser processing often requires the addition of gases to increase the efficiency and quality of a process. The gas nozzle of the GL.optifix can be adjusted in three degrees of freedom (x, y, z) to ensure optimal flow behavior. In addition, a protective glass is integrated, which protects the focusing optics from dirt and thus ensures a long service life.
