Hardware module GL.om

Hardwaremodul GL.om3 und 4

The laser systems can be extended to include the GL.om3 and GL.om4 operating modes. Operating mode 3 is used for process monitoring (automation), operating mode 4 for beam adjustment. In these operating modes it is possible, under certain protective measures, to release the laser radiation when the protective door is open.

GL.om3 for GL.compact and GL.evo

Process monitoring (automation): In operating mode 3, an axis in the machine’s working area can be moved with an enabling device. Open laser radiation (laser class 4) is permitted in this operating mode.

GL.om3 for GL.compact II, GL.smart and GL.ultra

Process monitoring (automation): In operating mode 3, several axes can be moved in the machine’s working area with an enabling device. In this operating mode, open laser radiation (laser class 4) is blocked for safety reasons.

GL.om4 for GL.compact and GL.evo

Laser adjustment (laser class 4): In operating mode 4, only the Z-axis can be moved in the machine’s working area with an enabling device. Open laser radiation (laser class 4) is permitted in this operating mode.

GL.om4 for GL.compact II, GL.smart and GL.ultra

Laser adjustment (laser class 4): In operating mode 4, an axis in the machine’s working area can be moved with an enabling device. Open laser radiation (laser class 4) is permitted in this operating mode.
