LASER MICRO MACHINING
With the laser turning process it is possible to work turned parts with very slim diameters. The goal of this process is to combine precise laser erosion and with a high precision rotation axis.
Through the contactless erosion mechanism the workpiece stays free of physical forces and deformation. This means that small that even the smallest workpieces have no loss of quality and precision. Even parts with large span length can be processed without any problems. The copuling of single laser pulses on the position of the workpiece (pulse on demand) enables adjustation of the heat input on the material. With this there takes no excessively heating up and as a result there will be no tension of the material caused by thermic and also no deformation. Furthermore the planar laser micro machining achievements of the surface characteristics values will be maintained by the laser turning process.
By processing at the five-axes-machine the turning can be embedded in a complete laser-process-chain. So the work piece can be engraved, cutted, drilled or structured without any re-clamping.
